Women's Split Specific Intermediate Tour at the Front Range Splitfest

Join Colorado Adventure Guides, Winterpark Resort, Weston Backcountry, and Women Who Splitboard for an intermediate women’s splitboard specific tour at Front Range Splitfest!

This discounted course is for those who have the basics of gear and movement down, and are ready to expand their knowledge and ability to travel in the backcountry on a splitboard at the intermediate level. Your splitboard guide will cover tour planning as a splitboarder, split-specific travel techniques both uphill and down, refresh avalanche awareness/rescue and terrain recognition in the field. Your guide will give you tips on what the next steps are for your progression, and you will have a chance to meet potential touring partners that are the same ability level as you are. This course is for all those who identify with the woman community.

Clients needing a splitboard can simply attend Front Range Splitfest the night before the course at the Headwaters Center to pick up a demo from 6-10 pm. Tickets to FRSF can be purchased at The Front Range Splitfest Event Site.
