Julies Cabin at duck Lake, amenities include running water, propane heat, fireplace electric lights, Starlink, indoor toilet sleeps - Location: Julie’s is a historical hut location situated on Guanella Pass at 11,000 feet in the Front Range of Colorado. The original lodge and cabins, known as “Alpendorf on the Lake” served as the family get away for the Coors family. From 1955 until 1957, when the lodge burned down, Duck Lake operated as a small ski area with one chair lift moving skiers up approximately 500 feet to enjoy turns down to the cabins. While the Lift has stopped the turns have not and we are now operating two rustic cabins that host a variety of backcountry adventures and is immediately adjacent to the abandoned Geneva Basin Ski Resort. Even better,Julie’s provides quick access to high alpine terrain for our course
